John Ince

John Ince has been a Realtor in Charlottesville, Virginia since 1983. After a ten year career training and showing Arabian horses throughout the United States, John came to Charlottesville as Manager/Trainer for Akid Arabian Stud, a premier Egyptian Arabian horse farm in western Albemarle County in 1982. It wasn't long before he knew this would be his home for life. A wise decision was made as he moved his equine interests to hobby status and embarked on a life-long career in farm and estate brokerage in and around Charlottesville. After 15 years with Charlottesville's oldest and largest real estate company, John established Charlottesville Country

John-Ince-horses Properties Ltd. in 1998 to provide clients with the high level of service and expertise only found in a small personalized company.

John is active in the Charlottesville Area Association of Realtors, serving as the 2014 President and as a member of the Professional Standards Committee. John also serves as a volunteer and on the Board of Directors of Stream Watch, a local non-profit responsible for monitoring the water quality in the Rivanna River watershed. John's hobbies are mostly outdoor activities including fly fishing, hiking, riding and scuba diving.

John lives on Firefly Farm, a small horse farm in Barboursville with his two children (now in college), three horses, two dogs and cat. Whether you are looking for a home in Charlottesville, a country estate, a weekend getaway John-Ince-horses or some land to build your dream home, ask John to show you around the countryside, the back roads and the fantastic city of Charlottesville from the Historic Downtown Mall to hip Belmont and some of the best restaurants in Virginia. Give us a weekend, and you may end up putting some new roots down yourself.
